Family members and friends who have lost a loved one to an overdose are invited to attend a morning of healing and remembrance.

This is a free event that will include:

• Light breakfast
• Presentation by Certified Grief Educator Rhonda Miller, founder of Oasis Community Center
• Guided journaling activity
• Guided chair yoga

All are invited to attend this event which is being held at the McGlinn Conference Center at Alvernia University, in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31. Overdose Awareness Day is recognized globally as a day to remember those who have died from overdose, honor their families and friends, and encourage action to prevent future deaths.

People of all ages are welcome to attend and will participate in activities together.
