SOS Berks & Berks Counseling Center will once again co-sponsor Recovery Awareness Night at the Reading Fightin’ Phils on Thursday August 13, 2026. The event will include numerous recovery organizations and treatment providers, who will set up tables throughout the plaza of FirstEnergy Stadium before the baseball game, providing information on substance use prevention, treatment and recovery.

Prior to the game we will distribute 5,000 FREE tickets (beginning July 7). And, at the game, we will hand out 500 free Recovery Awareness Night T-shirts.

The goal of the event is to raise awareness that recovery from substance use disorder is possible, to celebrate those who are living in recovery, and to draw attention to the fact that support for treatment and recovery is available right here in Berks County.
